| Boiler Installation |
There are number of heating appliances that are used for
heating room, office and water. The types of appliances vary depending on the
multiple factors like energy, source, heating and so on. There are myriad
ranges of products that serve the purpose of heating which includes electric
convectors, boilers, geysers, radiators and boilers.
Boilers for instance, are used to create steam by adding
heat energy to water. The hot water is then used in industrial and residential
areas for various purposes. It acts as a main working component of thermal
power plants which functions with the system of heat distribution and heat
emission. They are mainly used in power plants where steam turbines are used
for generating electricity. Different fuel like wood, coal, furnace oil, LPG
etc is used in boilers for heating purpose. One can find a good heating company
near them which provide boiler installation, maintenance and repair services.
How it functions?
A boiler heats the water which then converts the hot water
into steam. The steam carries the high pressure energy. A generator attached to
the turbines rotates with the turbine and start producing electricity. Various
industrial areas like power sector, textiles, sugar plants, thermal power
plants and food processing units install boilers for generating electricity.
Components of Boiler System-
Boiler system is classified into three main components which
are mentioned below –
1.
Boiler
feed water system – Here, the water gets converted into steam by steam
boiler system and this process is called feed water system. It is classified
into two types – one is open feed system and other is closed feed system.
2.
Boiler
steam system – It is a controlling system of boilers functioning process
which is responsible for collecting and controlling all the generated steam in
the heating process. The generated steam gets transferred to particular channel
through pipes.
3.
Boilers
fuel system – This is considered to be the main functioning body for
producing heat. Fuel system carries the
necessary equipments and components to feed fuel for the further heating
process.
Types of Boilers –
Boilers are classified into various categories according to
the content in the tube, no. of tubes, position of the furnace, axis of the
shell, methods of water and steam circulation and usage.
1.
Fire tube
boiler - Here, the fire or hot gas are found inside the tube which is
surrounded by water. The heat from the
hot gases is conducted through the walls of the tube to the water.
2.
Water
tube boiler - The water is found inside these tubes which later get
surrounded by hot gases. Their performance is highly appreciated in industries
including chemical, paper manufacturing and refining.
Search for a heating company near me that is highly qualified and experienced towards their
